Team and organization

Manage members, roles, organization settings, and account recovery.

Switch or create an organization

Each organization owns its services, schedules, sources, destinations, alerts, API keys, billing, and audit history. Data is not shared between organizations.

Use the organization switcher in the dashboard header to change the active organization. Select New organization to create another organization.

Add a team member

  1. Open Organization → Team.
  2. Enter the person’s name and email address.
  3. Choose Member or Admin.
  4. Select Add member.

The membership remains pending until the person signs in. A pending member cannot join a rotation or receive an override.

Choose the correct role

AdminMember access plus organization, team, service, schedule, source, destination, API key, voice, and billing management.

The last admin cannot be removed or demoted. Promote another member first.

Remove a member

Remove the person from each schedule and active override before you remove the membership. Acked blocks removal while the person is on call.

  1. Open Organization → Team.
  2. Find the member.
  3. Select Remove and confirm.

Create recovery codes

Recovery codes provide account access when a social sign-in provider is unavailable. Each code works once.

  1. Open Account → Security and recovery.
  2. Select Generate codes.
  3. Copy the complete set and store it outside Acked.
  4. Close the one-time display after you save the codes.

Generating a new set cancels every unused code from the previous set.

Manage personal notification endpoints

Open Account → Contact and notifications to review mobile devices and verified voice numbers. Remove a device that you no longer control.

Account settings also contain email change, organization membership, sign-out, and account deletion.

Delete an organization or account

An admin can delete an organization from Organization → Danger zone. Every member loses access immediately. Sources and API keys stop accepting requests.

A person can delete an account from Account → Account lifecycle. Personal information is erased. Historical audit entries retain an opaque user identifier.

Update monitoring destinations and send a test alert before you delete an organization that receives production signals.
